  • Sterling silver is a precious metal that naturally
    tarnishes. Some people like a tarnished antique look. Those who don't
    can clean their sterling silver jewelry with any silver polish or
    cleaner available at local jewelry stores. You can also use warm water
    with some soap and a toothbrush to clean it. Make sure your jewelry is
    completely dry before putting it away in a dry, cool place. Try to avoid
    using harsh chemicals when wearing sterling silver as it is a precious
    metal and certain substances can harm your jewelry.
